The Watermelon Festival went great, I got a nice tan :) and we have some great new products coming out! Pinky Up Glass has a new Chalk Board Wine Glass that you can personalize and hand painted post earrings so come by and check them out. We are opening up For Keeps Sake Designs Street Boutique JULY 1st !!! So what does this mean? We will be on the 3300 Block of West Cary Street {near All Fired Up} Thursday & Friday {11am-2pm} and Saturday {11am-6pm} our first week and every Saturday from then on, selling a variety of some of the BEST local handmade gifts, accessories, home decor, kids items, and more! This also means that our online shop will be no more...why is this? Well, put simply, we want to promote shopping local. But do not fret my out of town friends! We will post all of the things we are selling in our boutique, and if you absolutely have to have something, just shoot us an email request and we'll get it to you! So we've made a few fun changes to the site! What's new now? There is a 'Friday Finds' tab up top where you will find information on some of the coolest businesses, products, blogs etc. etc. along with giveaways! ...so pass our website along! Another new feature of the site is our 'Tuesday Tutorial' tab. Here we will put a fun project of the week for you to try at home!
We are also attending a really neat event. The StylesGroundUp.tv web show launch party on Thursday at The Camel in Richmond. These awesome ladies (Casey & Whit) give great advice and tips on starting a new or running your existing business. It's "Web-TV For Women In Business". I had the privilege of meeting Casey for lunch last week and she is such a great person! I will try to get pics of the pink carpet :) If you are a budding entrepreneur and are interested in attending, you can visit their site and click on the 'Launch Party!' tab at the top left. There will be prizes, and a lot of great people from the Richmond area to network with!
Now, as some of you might know, we are opening a small boutique (or craft castle as Casey would say) VERY soon (Crossing fingers for June!) and we still need some vendors. If you are crafty and are interested in and serious about selling your stuff, please contact us and we will get back with you.
If you are interested in the Cricut Cake, I demo at the Colonial heights Michaels Sunday's from 1-5 and the Fredericksburg Michael's (Spotsylvania Mall) Saturday's 1-5 ... Don't miss my demo! This machine is amazing! I will be making a cake in the next few weeks as a Tuesday Tutorial, and posting a video with some great tips on the best way to use your machine.
